Espresso...
Traditionally this is a single 1oz shot of coffee made with 7g of finely ground coffee extracted at between 18 and 25 seconds. The espresso shot forms the basic ingredient for many more unusual coffee recipes: -

Sambuca con la mosca ...
Neat white Sambuca [a rather unusual anise flavoured Italian liqueur ] with some floating coffee beans on it - usually 3, either as ornaments, or can be chewed to increase the taste of anise. The itlalian name literally means "Sambuca with Flies"! [or perhaps you'd have preferred not to know that!]. Tradition has it that the 3 beans represented health, happiness and prosperity - we certainly hope that you will experience all three! |
